What are the methods of farmland irrigation? How to save water in irrigation? The hoe manufacturer will introduce the following three irrigation methods.
1. Prevention of channel leakage
For a long time, water conveyance through ditches has been widely used in agricultural irrigation in China. Due to the leakage and evaporation of the channel, the utilization rate of water resources is low, which increases the waste of water resources. Therefore, channel leakage prevention measures shall be taken when using channel irrigation. And then improve the utilization rate of water resources in the canal system. At present, the main measure of agricultural water-saving irrigation in China is channel leakage prevention technology. It not only delivers water quickly, but also is very helpful for agricultural production to catch the season, and also reasonably saves the occupation of cultivated land. Therefore, at this stage, the vast majority of regions should carry out leak prevention and reinforcement construction of existing channels to reasonably improve the utilization rate of water resources, which can reasonably reduce the burden of water shortage at this stage. At the same time, it is also very beneficial to agricultural production, but the channel leakage prevention technology is more suitable for flat areas and can be vigorously promoted.
2. Pipeline water conveyance
Pipeline water conveyance technology has been widely used. The pipeline is used to transport water directly to the field for irrigation, which reasonably avoids water leakage and evaporation loss in the channel. These technologies are developing rapidly in northern China. At present, the commonly used farmland irrigation pipes in many areas in the north are concrete pipes, plastic hard pipes, flexible pipes, metal pipes, etc. Water can be transported to the field quickly and timely through pipelines without occupying farmland. Reasonable improvement of irrigation efficiency and rational utilization of water resources have played a huge role in promoting agricultural production and ensuring agricultural production increase. However, using pipes for field irrigation cannot really save water. In order to realize the utilization of water resources, water saving measures such as sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation are also needed.
3. Drip irrigation
Drip irrigation has achieved good results in drought and water shortage areas in China. Plastic pipes are used to transport water to the roots of crops through holes or droppers on capillary pipes with a diameter of about 10 mm to achieve local irrigation. At the same time, it can also be carried out at the same time with fertilization, which can reasonably improve the fertilizer efficiency. This irrigation method is used to save water in drought and water shortage areas. The utilization rate of water resources is improved, and the effect of water saving and production increase is realized. This irrigation method is more suitable for watering fruit trees, vegetables, cash crops and greenhouses. Field crop irrigation is only applicable to drought and water shortage areas. When drip irrigation of field crops is carried out in drought and water shortage areas, the water storage function of water cellar should be used at the same time. In these areas, rainwater and river water are introduced into storage tanks for storage during peak rainfall periods. During the drought period, the water in the reservoir is transferred to the farmland through drip irrigation. So as to alleviate drought and increase production.
